My niece Susie had a baby in February. The mint green sweater matches a baby blanket that I made for her. This pattern is from Filatura di Crosa and the yarn is from Joanne's. It is 100% wool with a gauge of 4 stitches to the inch. The yarn is Tesoro and is surprisingly nice to knit. The blue sweater is very inexpensive acrylic yarn from Michael's. (These are the cheap yarn sweaters) I don't know why I bought some, it is very fuzzy. I'll try to give away the remaining 3 balls.

Its Spring and I have made lots of items but haven't posted much lately. Been sick and busy.
Here are the Jaywalkers. Everyone's making them. It was quite simple. The socks are large and may not feel comfortable in shoes. They take 76 stitches to make the pattern. Reducing the number of stitches by having only 6 stitches between kf/b and dd so that there are only 68 total stitches might make the socks more comfortable for people with average feet. The yarn is Cherry Tree Hill Northern Lights.

Today I am finishing my latest pair of socks. They are a cotton blend that can be washed and dried in the machine. They are made of Fortissima cotton blend which is discontinued. You can still find some on the internet. They would be nicer if they were a little elastic. So, I'll keep them for myself. If you click on the picture it will get larger and you can see the details.
Also, here is a Christmas scarf for some unnamed person. This is made of Plymouth Treasure. It is so sparkly.
